What We Collect
When you use Excelio in browser mode, your data files are processed entirely in your browser using DuckDB-WASM. We do not upload, store, or access your data files on our servers.
If you create an account, we store your email address (via Clerk authentication) and any workflows you explicitly save.
We use analytics (Posthog) to understand how features are used. This includes page views and feature usage — not your data content.
AI Features
When you use the AI assistant, your prompts and workflow context are sent to OpenAI's API to generate SQL queries. We do not send your actual data rows — only schema information (column names and types).
LinkedIn Integration
If you connect your LinkedIn account, we request permission to post content on your behalf. We access your LinkedIn profile name and URL. We do not read your LinkedIn messages, connections, or any content you did not create through our platform. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time. Posts are only published when you explicitly click "Post to LinkedIn."
Third-Party Data Sources
Our LinkedIn Content Engine fetches publicly available data from FRED (Federal Reserve), SEC EDGAR, Yahoo Finance, and Google Trends to generate data-backed posts. This data is public and freely accessible. We do not store fetched data permanently — it is processed in real-time during your session.
Data Security
All browser-mode processing happens locally. Saved workflows are stored in PostgreSQL with user-level isolation. We use HTTPS for all communications.
